The results of the certification tests were used to conduct comparative assessments for the Ukrainian government, aimed at implementing European energy efficiency standards in the country in preparation for Ukraine’s accession to the European Union.
The Association “RECOVERY”
was created on the basis of the corporation “DAN”, «Active Technology” and the Association of enterprises ‘Energy Alliance’, which has been in continuous operation since 1992.
Energy Alliance specialize in quality control of industrial products in Ukraine and actively implement European technology construction and reconstruction of buildings according to the concept of passive house nZEB.
Participants “Energy Alliance” , “Standard — S”, Estonia PE Ukrpromsert and certification body Etalon have unique for Ukraine joint international experience in realization of projects of certification and energy audit of standard buildings.
The works were performed according to the European energy efficiency standard EnerPHit Step-by-Step in cooperation with the leading energy efficiency standardization institute Passive House Institute (PHI) in
Darlington. Institute (PHI) in Darmstadt, Germany. In addition, we signed a memorandum and cooperation agreement with Passive House Institute, which opens up additional prospects for the implementation of energy efficiency projects.

Evidence in the field of energy efficiency
The Energy Alliance Association of Enterprises conducts comprehensive energy audits of buildings to optimize energy consumption, reduce costs, and implement modern energy-efficient solutions. We cooperate with educational institutions, government agencies, and enterprises, helping them increase energy independence and improve the comfort of building operation.
Details of completed school certification work
In 2023, large-scale work was carried out in the cities of Sinelnikovo (Dnipropetrovsk region) and Svetlovodsk (Kirovograd region) to certify typical schools No. 6 and No. 10 according to the European energy efficiency standard EnerPHit Step-by-Step. These activities were implemented by the German Passive House Institute PHI Darmstadt together with the certification company Standard-C, the Energy Alliance Association of Enterprises and Ukrpromsert.
The certification included: 
Analysis of the existing condition of buildings – inspection of thermal insulation, heating systems, ventilation and window structures. Energy audit – detailed calculation of current energy consumption and modeling of future energy efficiency after the implementation of modernization. Development of a step-by-step modernization strategy – drawing up a plan for step-by-step changes aimed at reducing energy consumption and improving comfort. Expert assessment and testing – conducting comparative studies of the effectiveness of European and Ukrainian certification methods for the government of Ukraine. Development of design documentation – preparation of technical solutions taking into account NZEB (Nearly Zero Energy Building) standards.
The experience gained during the implementation of these works became the basis for the further implementation of the German technology of phased thermal modernization EnerPHit in Ukraine for a low-income customer, which allows to significantly reduce energy costs and increase the level of comfort in conditions of economic instability.

The association of enterprises “Energy Alliance” Standart-s and Ukrpromsert conducts comprehensive energy audits aimed at reducing energy consumption, reducing operating costs and implementing modern energy-efficient solutions.
